WITH GLOWING HEARTS QUILT-ALONG
Patti Carey of Patti’s Patchwork has designed these stunning quilts to support the Stonehenge Oh Canada 10th Anniversary. Patti will be hosting a monthly Quilt-Along from March to December 2022, in which she will guide consumers through the creation of these amazing quilts.
QUILT-ALONG INSPIRATION
Patti has always enjoyed working with Oh Canada! collections to design Quilts of Valour quilts. Not only do the various fabrics play well together, they speak to her heart. Over the past 10 years she has had the good fortune to witness just how impactful these QOV quilts are to the recipients. Patti feels it has been her honour to design and host this meaningful Quilt-Along using the Stonehenge Oh Canada! 10th Anniversary collection.
CREATIVE CONTEST RULES
There are two contests to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Stonehenge Oh Canada!: Celebrate Canada Day and Wear Your Patriotic Pride.
In order to successfully submit your entry into either of the two creative contests, Celebrate Canada Day or Wear Your Patriotic Pride, your creation needs to be completed using the Stonehenge Oh Canada! 10th Anniversary collection and existing Oh Canada! coordinates. All project submissions require a minimum of 5 fabrics from the Stonehenge Oh Canada! 10th Anniversary collection, clearly visible on the outer layer. The style, size and design of your submission is up to your creative discretion. The use of any colour thread, applique, embroidery, batting, zippers, clasps, buttons and any other fastenings are permitted.No fabric alterations, such as dyeing or bleaching, will be accepted. All projects must be completed and finished with binding if applicable. Visible competition will be at the discretion of the Northcott With Glowing Hearts team.
Submission and voting entry will take place on Woobox. One (1) image will be accepted to showcase your fabulous creation using the Stonehenge Oh Canada! 10th Anniversary collection. Please choose the best photograph that will display important features to consider, such as the inside lining, back, front, straps, etc. if applicable. If submitting a jacket, it must be a finished, quilted garment.
Upon submission, further project details and information may be requested. Failure to disclose requested information will result in disqualification. Please include an email address and phone number with your photo submission. One (1) submission per IP address will be allowed. Only approved submissions by the Northcott With Glowing Hearts team will be chosen to be voted on by the public. During voting week, one (1) vote for each IP address will be allowed every 24 hours.
Celebrate Canada Day begins April 2022. Submissions will be accepted by June 23rd, 2022. Voting will take place between June 24th and June 29th. Three winners will be announced on June 30th, 2022 via social media platforms. Prizes valued for each winner will be $200+ USD each – comprised of a variety of donations from our sponsors. Project suggestions include quilts, garments, tote bags, wall hangings, etc. Open to Canadian residents only.
Wear Your Patriotic Pride begins August 2022. Submissions will be accepted by November 1st, 2022. Voting will take place between November 2nd and November 7th. Three winners will be announced on November 8th, 2022 via social media platforms. Prizes valued for each winner will be $200+ USD each – comprised of a variety of donations from our sponsors. Must submit a finished wearable jacket. Open to Canadian residents only.
