This pattern uses the Spruce Mountain Stockings panel (22226-64), the instructions are printed on the panel, and are as follows:
1. Layer the stockings onto a piece of batting and quilt as desired. 2. Cut the stockings out (seam allowance is included in the stocking design). 3. Using the stockings as a guide, cut out two pieces of lining for each stocking. 4. With right sides together, stitch around the edge of each stocking using a 1/4" seam allowance, leaving the top open. Turn the stocking right side out and press. 5. With the right sides together, stitch around the edge of the stock lining using a 1/4" seam allowance. Leave the top open and leave a 4" opening in the bottom of the foot so you can turn the stocking inside out. 6. Place the right side out stocking inside the wrong side out lining, matching up the side seams and ensuring the foot is pointing in the same direction. Insert a loop of ribbon at the center back seam so its tucked between the lining and the stocking. 7. Stitch around the top and turn right side out through the opening left in the lining. 8. Push the lining inside the stocking and press. 9. Top stitch around the top.
