Looking for a fun and easy project? With an approximate finished size of 14" x 35", this quick-to-make bargello effect table runner uses just one fabric!

To start, cut 3/4 yard of any of the beautiful fabrics from our Colorfall collection by Karen Combs. This would be used as the quilt top & binding; in the image shown we have used SKU 80368-61).  Gather 1/2 yard of a fabric of your choice for backing; we used Shadows 81300-63. 

Step 1: Cut 7 – 2 ½” x WOF strips.  

Step 2:Move strips up or down in 2 ½” increments to achieve the bargello effect as shown. 

Step 3: Pin in place and sew together. 

Step 4: Trim the top & bottom edges at the shortest strip. 

Step 5: Cut 3 – 2 ¼” x WOF strips for binding. 

Step 6: Layer, quilt & bind.  Enjoy!
