Inspired by the mighty and unexplained rock formations found in England, Stonehenge Fabrics is a unique and powerful line that is celebrating its 10th year of success in 2019. We are pleased to announce the exciting 10th Anniversary plans for the Stonehenge fabric brand which include many exciting opportunities for quilt shops to participate in.
Stonehenge Solstice Stonehenge mastermind Linda Ludovico and Northcott’s Design Director Deborah Edwards collaborated on the Stonehenge Solstice collection. They wanted to create something unique and captivating to honor the mysterious rock formations that inspired the brand. The collection includes a stunning 28” panel with the sun rising over the mighty Stonehenge rocks to represent the Summer Solstice. To coordinate, there is a wide range of Celtic inspired prints and classic Stonehenge textures in shades of teal, turquoise, orange and gold. CLICK HERE to see the full collection.
The International Block Party - March 15th - Sept. 30th, 2019 To kick off the celebration we are starting with an International Block Party. Participating shops will have the opportunity to create a block kit to sell to consumers who travel around from shop to shop collecting 12 blocks in total. CLICK HERE for more information. The In-Store Solstice Panel Quilt Challenge - March 15th - Nov. 30th, 2019 Participating shops have also signed up for the In-store Solstice Panel Quilt Challenge. They will host this contest by selecting and choosing three consumers who submit a quilt design using the Stonehenge Solstice collection. CLICK HERE for more information.
The Shop Display Challenge - March 15th - April 15th, 2019 To enhance the Block Party and create excitement, participating shops are challenged to make a creative Stonehenge Block Party display in their store. The Travelling Quilt Show Display - March 15th - Sept. 30th, 2019 To honor all the beautiful Stonehenge quilts that have been made over the last 10 years, we are reaching out and asking the public to submit their quilt to us for a chance to have it be seen in a travelling quilt show display.
