Participate in Northcott's Artisan Spirit Sandscapes Challenge!
There are two categories of participation: Category 1 – Pieced wall hanging Category 2 – Appliqued wall hanging
Prizes will be awarded in each category: 1) 1st place in each category - $1,000 cash prize. 2) 2nd place in each category - $300 cash prize and a FQ bundle. 3) 3rd place in each category - $150 cash prize and a FQ bundle. All cash prizes will be awarded in US dollars.
Rules & Guidelines • The finished size of your wall hanging should not exceed 40” by 40”. • All print fabrics used in your quilt should be from Northcott’s Artisan Spirit Sandscapes collection. You may add solids from Northcott’s Premium ColorWorks Solid collection or from other lines, but remember the challenge is to make something with Artisan Spirit Sandscapes. • There is no entry fee. • Contestants can participate in both categories and may enter more than once in the same category. • Send a photo of your finished quilt against a neutral background to submissions@northcott.net by September 30th, 2016. Include your name, address, category, and phone number. The top ten quilts in each category will be selected based on the submission photos. • For the final round of judging, the top ten finalists in each category will be required to send their finished wall hanging to Northcott. All wall hangings will be returned once the winners have been announced. • Winners will be notified by October 31st, 2016.

ELIGIBILITY: Entrants that have sent their submission via email to submissions@northcott.net.
SUBMISSION RULES: The submission cut-off time is September 30, 2016 at 11:59pm (EST). Northcott is not responsible for any computer/connection malfunctions resulting in defect, delay, or alterations of email entry. This includes unattached files, emails being mistaken for spam/virus, and files that cannot be opened.
WINNER SELECTION: At the end of the entry period, Northcott will review all submissions for eligibility.
WINNER NOTIFICATION: In the event that the winners do not respond to Northcott’s email notification within five business days of notification, the prize will be forfeited and will go to the entrant next in line. Northcott is not responsible for any email server errors the recipient may experience, resulting in emails defaulting to junk and/or spam folders.
PRIZE: All cash prizes will be awarded in US dollars. Each prize winner is required to sign a prize release form, which will be sent via email. The release form must be sent back and signed via email. The prize recipients will not qualify to receive the cash prizes until the form is signed and returned by email.
