Challenge Instructions:
Use Northcott's ColorWorks Premium Solid line to create a 30" x 30" modern quilt. All quilting styles are encouraged! (Improv, piecing, etc.)

Use the Product Finder to locate a store near you that sells ColorWorks Premium Solids.
Note: Northcott is not responsible for editing your photo submissions. For presentation purposes, please ensure that the photo of your quilt is taken on a neutral background.

ENTRANT DETAILS: Entrants have sent their Chip Pack Challenge submission via email to submissions@northcott.net. The submission cut off time is May 1, 2016 at 11:59pm (EST).
TOP TEN: At the end of the entry period, Northcott will review all submissions for eligibility. Ten (10) finalists will be selected by the Northcott staff based on the following criteria: Creativity (50%) will be measured by how the initial five squares were used and the creativity in the use of negative space. Originality (50%) will be measured by the use of either traditional/non-traditional patterns (flying geese vs. abstract) in combination with the techniques used (applique, piecing, etc.).
The Top Ten entrants will be determined by the ten highest scores out of 100, based on the two criteria sections. In the event of a tie, the person among the tied entrants with the highest score in Creativity will be selected to be in the Top Ten.
Once the Top Ten have been chosen, an email will be sent out to all entrants regarding the voting information, which will take place on http://woobox.com/wk88q2 beginning May 9, 2016 at 12:00pm (EST).
PRIZE: The prize is an assortment of Northcott’s ColorWorks Solids Precuts as well as two ColorWorks Concepts panels and fabric labels. The prize retail value is $112.00 (US).
SUBMISSION: Northcott is not responsible for any computer/connection malfunctions resulting in defect, delay, or alterations of email entry. This includes but not limited to unattached files, emails being mistaken for spam/virus, and files that cannot be opened.
OFFICIAL RULES FOR VOTING PORTION OF CHALLENGE
VOTING TIMELINE: Northcott's Chip Pack Challenge Top Ten voting period is open from May 9, 2016 at 12:00pm(EST) until May 23, 2016 at 11:59pm(EST).
LIMIT PER DAY: One vote per IP Address per quilt. Voting participants can vote once per day on all/any number of the Top Ten submissions.
WINNER SELECTION: The submission with the highest number of votes will be determined as the winner. . In the event of a tie, the person among the tied entrants with the highest score in Creativity (see TOP TEN section below) will be selected as the prize winner.
WINNER NOTIFICATION: There will be one prize winner, which will be determined by the entrant with the most votes on their submission. The winner will be notified by email on May 24, 2016. In the event that the winner does not respond to Northcott’s email notification within five business days of notification, the prize will be forfeited and will go to the entrant with the next highest number of votes.
