A native north-easterner and current resident of Charlotte, NC, Brett Blumenthal began her artistic journey as a self-taught watercolor artist while pregnant with her son. Struggling to find artwork that would appeal to her baby, as well as to her and her husband, she was inspired to paint the artwork for his nursery.
Today, Brett creates artwork for all ages. Inspired by the natural world, she loves to depict animals and landscapes so that it draws the viewer in, helping them connect to the subject.
