Born and raised in the countryside near Portland, Oregon, Tina Higgins has always been interested in nature, art and design. She graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1985 and worked for Portal Publications in graphic design in San Francisco. 

Tina's family means the most to her, and her friends are the ones who inspire her. She has been married to her architect husband for over 26 years, has two wonderful children and a lovable yellow lab named Roxy who keeps her company in her home studio. 

She considers herself to be very fortunate to be making a living as an artist and has deep gratitude to all those who support her work and make it possible to continue to do what she loves.
