Teri Farrell-Gittins is a surface, textile designer and illustrator. She lives Southern California where flowers bloom year round. Teri believe's it is important to surround ourselves with beauty and things that make us happy. Beautiful art, especially florals, can have such an wonderful effect on our emotional well-being, uplifting and inspiring us.
Teri graduated from Art Center College of Design located in Pasadena California. After graduating she created art for companies such Spider Magazine, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, Disney Interactive, Mattel, Club Disney and more. Teri hand paints and draws in watercolor and ink, as well as manipulates her work using digital tools to create relaxed and beautiful surface patterns. Teri's skill ranges from stylized realism, to simple sweet graphics. She is forever curious and loves to learn new techniques and skills. She also enjoys nature walks (although stopping to take too many photos of flowers), spending time with family and friends, and relaxing (always with a sketchbook) in a place where there are shelves and shelves of books, big chairs, sipping on a cup of coffee or tea.
