Terry Albers, quilter and pattern designer, has been teaching and writing patterns for more than 20 years. A self-taught artist, she began her career while working and teaching at her sister’s quilt shop in northeast Wisconsin. She discovered her true love when she began designing to inspire quilters as new fabric lines are introduced. Working with pre-production digital files allows her limitless possibilities in the use of color and pattern design.

After starting in the traditional quilting style, she is enjoying her transition to contemporary and modern design. As an independent designer, she doesn’t confine herself to one style but continues to design things she loves. It’s all about the fabrics!
