Joni has been sewing and quilting since she was a youngster! Fabric has always been a medium to share memories of favorite places or just make people smile.

She has been a pattern designer for 15 years and has created many designs that feature the Canadian landscape, her garden or just whimsy. She designs under the name Quirks&Quilts and chose that name because it just fits!

She joined the Northcott team in 2013 and has been designing rows for shops for the Row By Row shop hop since the Canadian shops became involved.

Patterns and kits are available in many quilt shops or through her website. She will be the featured Canadian designer in the spring issue of the CQA magazine.

She tours the country sharing her love of quilting through classes, trunk shows and talks/demos at quilt shows.
